Every tuning company tries to get a piece of market share in the overcrowded tuning market by using their own approach. Despite the many competitors you must at least respect the work of other tuning companies. DMC doesn't do this as we heard more often. We were tipped on a SLR McLaren which was spotted in China. The bodykit seems to come from FAB Design, but that's not the deal, this is a replica made by DMC.
A big advantage of China is the fact that the country is so incredibly big. Without anyone knowing you can easily build replicas of all sorts of products and that's exactly what happens in China. We already see this with Land Rovers but also the products from tuning companies are simply copied. The bodykit by FAB Design was proudly presented at the Geneva Motor Show a few years ago. Only 25 copies are built with all a unique serial number. Every car has a personalized interior and a bodykit with FAB Design logos. This bodykit doesn't have these characteristics. The fact that DMC placed their logo in the bumpers doesn't really show respect to FAB Design. Meanwhile FAB Design confirmed that this car isn't built by them, we're dealing with a replica!
