Chevrloet introduces the sixth generation of the Camaro, GM's sports car. The newest Camaro offers a higher level of performance, more sophistication and a wide range of advanced technology. The 'Gen Six' Camaro has a completely new and more lightweight body structure and the choice between several, more modern engines.
You can choose between six competely new engines including a 2 liter turbo, a completely new 3.6 liter V6 and the LT1 6.2 liter V8 producing 440 hp and 610 Nm of torque. This makes it the most powerful Camaro SS ever. Every engine is available with a six speed manual gearbox or an automatic eight speed gearbox. Even the Americans started downsizing their engines.
The new Camaro will be available in the United States later this year while Europe has to wait for the first half of 2016. The model line-up and the technical specifications for the European models will be announced on a later moment.
The 3.6 liter V6 as well as the 6.2 liter V8 is available with an exhaust system with two modes with electronic controlled valves. During acceleration this results in a better performance and better sound.
