We must have been sleeping. Yesterday we wrote about the Aston Martin DB9 GT that would be brought to the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the fact that this is the most powerful DB9 ever. Fact is that this car is already spotted while it was on its way to Le Mans. The spotter first thought that this was a 2013 model but we now found out that this is the new DB9 GT.
The new DB9 GT is an upgraded version to make it keep up with Aston Martin's newest models. We still have to wait a while for the DB11 which is currently being tested. The V12 in the front of the DB9 GT is boosted to 547 hp and 620 Nm of torque. This makes it possible to sprint from zero to 100 kph in just 4.2 seconds. Next to the adjustments to the engine, Aston Martin made some other small adjustments but we're actually just waiting for the DB11. Hurry up Aston Martin!
